Our Bible worker who hails from the state of Jharkhand recently told us that people in his home village have this saying, "If you want to catch the cow, first catch the calf." We've taken that to heart and found that it works. Many of the neighbor boys really enjoy playing with "Uncle Jared", and through his relationship with them we have gotten to know their parents.
Jared took this picture of some of the neighbor kids playing on
a tree that was uprooted in a storm some months ago. It makes
a great jungle gym for the kids though.
